Gary V Caps Off His 25th Anniversary with Concert in Alma Mater!!!

     La Salle Green Hills, you’re not hearing things. That’s actually the one, the only, Mr. Pure Energy, Gary Valenciano coming to you LIVE after years of not performing in his Alma Mater!!!

     Yes, after many years, Gary V is back in La Salle Green Hills and inviting everyone to GARY V…BACK HOME! a 2-night special concert to draw to a memorable close his 25th anniversary in showbusiness and celebrate 50 years of La Salle Green Hills. 

     Slated for on June 5 and 8 at  the Rafael Donato Center to the Performing Arts (La Salle Green Hills), the show is so special, Gary is bringing with him his special guests who made his anniversary concert LIVE AT 25  the bring-the-house-down event. For the first time in history, Gary is bringing his La Sallian children, sons Paolo (DLSU Batch 2007) and Gabriel Valenciano (LSGH 2005), and Kiana, currently entering her fourth year at La Salle Antipolo and Powerplay with fellow La Sallian brothers, Mon Faustino, Tek Faustino, and Ding Faustino.

     GARY V…BACK HOME! will again showcase the talents, the music and the dynamic performance that won for Gary for five consecutive years Awit Awards’ Best Male Performance, receiving the same 11 times in the award-giving body’s 21-year history.  Equally important, Gary will celebrate the spectacular highlights and the inspirations that have marked and guided his momentous journey to this milestone.

     And what a long, meaningful trip it continues to be. Gary recently was recognized as the Best Concert Performer of the year for his major concert Live at 25 in Manila; Radio subsidiary of ABSCBN, 101.9 For Life! First WAKI Awards gave him the Choice Award as “Entertainer of the Year”.  The Radio Music Awards chose him as the First Lifetime Achievement Awardee and was voted Best Male Performer. There are also exciting plans for the second half of the year, including fresh collaboration with Spongecola and friends like Martin Nievera for a major back-to back major concert in September and an album, as well as musical ventures with some of the younger bands in the business and more tours around the world.

     For the moment though, Gary is focused on his homecoming convert intent on giving it more than he did in his past major concerts as it  was in this school that Gary was first discovered as a member of the famous musical singing group Kundirana as he toured the country and the world.
